These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MYVINSEEKwebsite, products, reports, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. ABOUT MYVINSEEK
MYVINSEEKprovides vehicle-information services, which may include VIN decoding, vehicle history information, title and brand information, lien or theft-related information where available, auction information, recall information, inspection-related services, and other vehicle-data products. The specific Services available to you are described on the website at the time of purchase.
MYVINSEEKmay obtain information from government agencies, data providers, auction sources, insurers, recyclers, inspection providers, and other third parties. Availability and coverage vary by vehicle, jurisdiction, source, and time.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You represent that information you provide to MYVINSEEKis accurate and that you have authority to provide it.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY
Certain Services may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account. You must promptly notify MYVINSEEKif you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You may not impersonate another person, create an account using false information, circumvent account limits, resell access without authorization, or transfer an account except with MYVINSEEK’s written permission.
4. VEHICLE REPORTS AND DATA LIMITATIONS
Vehicle reports are informational products and are not guarantees of a vehicle’s condition, ownership, title status, mileage, market value, safety, or suitability for purchase.
Data may be incomplete, delayed, inconsistent, unavailable, or inaccurate because MYVINSEEKrelies in part on third-party and governmental sources. A clean or incomplete report does not establish that a vehicle has never been damaged, stolen, salvaged, rebuilt, flooded, modified, or otherwise affected.
Vehicle-history information is not a substitute for an independent inspection, a review of the original title and ownership documents, a test drive, or appropriate professional advice. Before purchasing a vehicle, you should independently verify material information with the appropriate state agency, manufacturer, seller, and qualified inspection professional.
5. NMVTIS AND GOVERNMENT-SOURCED INFORMATION
Where a Service includes NMVTIS information, NMVTIS data is provided by participating states, insurance carriers, junk and salvage yards, and other authorized reporting entities. NMVTIS coverage and update timing vary, and NMVTIS is not a complete vehicle-repair-history database.
A vehicle history report is not an independent vehicle inspection. Consumers should obtain an independent inspection before purchasing a used vehicle.
MYVINSEEKdoes not represent that any government or third-party source has certified, approved, or endorsed a MYVINSEEKreport unless expressly stated.
6. INSPECTION SERVICES
If MYVINSEEKoffers an inspection service, the inspection is subject to the scope purchased and the applicable order details. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, an inspection is a limited visual assessment and is not a mechanical certification, appraisal, warranty, or guarantee of future condition.
Inspection timing may vary because of vehicle access, seller availability, location, weather, scheduling, and other circumstances outside MYVINSEEK’s control.
7. PRICES, PAYMENTS, AND TAXES
Prices, fees, products, and availability may change at any time. The price presented at checkout, together with applicable taxes and disclosed fees, will generally apply to the applicable purchase.
You authorize MYVINSEEKand its payment processor(s) to charge the payment method you provide for authorized purchases. You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information.
8. REFUND POLICY — 7 DAYS
MYVINSEEKoffers a 7-day refund request window for eligible purchases. A refund request must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days after the purchase date.
Eligible refund circumstances may include:
• A report was delivered blank or materially inaccessible because of a technical failure attributable to MYVINSEEK.
• You were charged more than once for the same report because of a duplicate transaction.
• Another refund circumstance expressly stated on the applicable product or checkout page.
The following ordinarily do not qualify by themselves for a refund:
• Dissatisfaction with information contained in a report.
• Information that is incomplete, delayed, or unavailable because the underlying source does not contain or has not yet reported it.
• A change of mind after the report has been successfully delivered and accessed.
• Reliance on a report when purchasing or selling a vehicle.
• Information that is later updated by a government or third-party source.
If a refund is approved, MYVINSEEKmay issue it to the original payment method. Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
For refund assistance, contact the support address displayed on the MYVINSEEKwebsite and provide your order details, purchase date, VIN (where applicable), and the reason for the request. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
9. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not:
• Use the Services to violate applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, APIs, or databases.
• Interfere with or disrupt the website or Services.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, reproduce, or systematically extract data except as expressly authorized in writing.
• Reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections.
• Misrepresent MYVINSEEKreports or data.
• Use the Services for fraud, harassment, discrimination, or other unlawful activity.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

12. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
MYVINSEEKmay modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service, feature, database connection, or part of the website at any time. We may perform maintenance, security updates, or other changes that temporarily affect availability.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
13. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND INFORMATION ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” MYVINSEEKDISCLAIMS WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
MYVINSEEKDOES NOT WARRANT THAT VEHICLE INFORMATION WILL BE COMPLETE, CURRENT, ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE, OR AVAILABLE FOR EVERY VEHICLE.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYVINSEEKAND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, LOSS OF USE, OR DIMINUTION IN VALUE ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYVINSEEK’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID MYVINSEEKFOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
15. INDEMNIFICATION
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MYVINSEEKand its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another party’s rights.
16. TERMINATION
MYVINSEEKmay suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, engage in fraud or abuse, or where otherwise permitted by law.
Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual-property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute provisions, and payment obligations.
17. PRIVACY
Our collection and use of personal information are described in the MYVINSEEKPrivacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed that policy.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Any mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.

20. SEVERABILITY

These Terms, together with any expressly incorporated policies or product-specific terms, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services and supersede prior agreements concerning the same subject matter, except where a written agreement expressly states otherwise.
